Kelly Clarkson was an American singer/songwriter that became the American sweetheart after she took home American Idol in the first season. She was not only launched into stardom by her win and announcing an agreement to record multiple albums in the company of RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records. The singer has since released several Studio albums. Three of them reached the US Billboard 200 chart, however, others narrowly missed the mark. They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. When she was successful, she explored a variety of topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs with her personal feelings. The singer received critical acclaim as well as numerous prestigious awards for her individuality and vocal talent. Notably, she's won the Grammy Award a record three times. In addition to her musical professional career, she has worked in film and TV. She also wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and been involved in numerous charities.
