Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback actress, singer and musician. Her main work involves focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language movies. She made her acting debut in Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut in Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah comes from an Anglo-Indian origin. She was the daughter of an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. She also has one younger sister, who is currently working as a research associate in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah grew up near Chennai and went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. She has said that she was an avid geek and wanted to be a psychiatrist until she completed the 12th grade of her board exams.Andrea was a classical pianist when she was eight. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she was a part of at the age of 10 was the foundation to sing and compose music. In her college, she was also a theater artist and performed in stage shows produced through The Madras Players. Andrea was the President of Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea's stage career started with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. In 2006, she appeared in a brand new advertisement for Leo with actor Shiva.
