Alissa White-Gluz
Alissa White-Gluz used to be the lead singer of the metalcore band The Agonist, and the now the band's lead vocalist for Swedish popular melodic death band Arch Enemy. Alissa White-Gluz (born July 31 in 1985) is an Canadian singer, best known as the lead vocalist for the Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy, and former leader vocalist, and founding member of the Canadian metalcore group the Agonist. The way she sings is both clear and growling vocals (singing). The majority of her work is associated with Metalcore and melodic deaths, but has also performed alongside Nightwish, Tarja Turunen, Delain as well as Powerwolf. White-Gluz was part of the Agonist who was previously known as "Tempest" and was based in Montreal (Quebec), Canada during 2004-2014. The group released three albums, with the band as their main vocalist.White-Gluz quit the Agonist during the spring of 2014 after she was offered the role as vocalist for Arch Enemy.
